For example, a machine learning algorithm can be used\nto identify objects in an image or forecast the stock market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most\ncommon types of machine learning algorithms are supervised learning,\nunsupervised learning, and reinforcement learning. Supervised learning\nalgorithms are trained using labeled data, which means that the algorithm is\ngiven input data and an expected output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsupervised\nlearning algorithms are trained using unlabeled data, which means that the algorithm\nis given input data but not the expected output. Evolutionary algorithms are used for\noptimization problems, such as finding the best route between two points.\nBayesian networks are used for probabilistic reasoning, such as estimating the\nprobability of an event occurring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Machine\nlearning has become increasingly popular in recent years due to its ability to\nquickly analyze large amounts of data and make accurate predictions. It is\nbeing used in various industries including healthcare, finance and retail.
