National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Haridwar has given information on e-Waste Management to the students of various schools of Uttarakhand through online webinar on 23.08.2021. Under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, this online webinar will be run repetitive for the next five days.
The keynote speaker of the program, Mr. Nikhil Ranjan, Program Coordinator, NIELIT Haridwar, gave valuable information on e-Waste Management to the students and also apprised them of its widespread harm in future. He also administered a pledge to the students towards stopping e-waste at the end of the webinar.
Along with this, he was also informed about the advanced courses conducted at Haridwar Regional Center of NIELIT located in SIDCUL. He also informed that free education and training facility is available to the students of scheduled castes and tribes at NIELIT’s SIDCUL center located in Haridwar.
