Dehradun, the capital of Uttrakhand is also known as “Dron Nagri”. There is one of the Lord Shiva’s temples named Tapakeshwar Mahadev is located. In this temple the water flowing through the veins of the hills and flip above the “Shivaling”. For this reason, it is known as Tapakeshwar Mahadev. It is believed that here Ashwathama had done penance of Lord Shiva.
This temple is very picturesque and delightful. At the same time, the flow of a free stream of water keeps on flowing here. Getting here brings you peace of mind.
