If you are a Whatspap user then this news is for you. Whatsapp has taken a big step to stop the incidents of Fake News and Mob Lynching. Now in WhatsApp you will not be able to forward more than 5 messages. This will reduce the effects of Fake News through WhatsApp. Users will not be able to use Quick Forward Button as well.
All these exercises have been done by the Whatsapp under the pressure of the Indian government. The Indian government had asked Whatsapp, Facebook and other social media platforms to take measures to restrict Fake News.
WhatsApp has 1 billion users all over the world, out of which 20 200 million is in India only. All these restrictions will remain only in India, while whatsapp will continue to run in the rest of the country with full control as earlier.
