India celebrates the Republic Day on January 26 every year. But today we are going to reveal some of the interesting and unknown facts related to it. So let’s start.

Before independence on January 26, 1930, declaration of full Swaraaj had come into existence. For this reason, this particular day was chosen for implementing the Constitution to show the importance of this day.

Before the Constitution was implemented, the Indian was ruled by the Government of India Act, which was created and imposed by the British Government, was being run from 1935. It is amazing that from 1950 to 1954 there is no fixed place for Republic Day Parade. In the year 1955, Rajpath has been secured for the parade of Republic Day.



This day, bravery and gallantry of India are showcased. At the same time, India’s cultural heritage is also exhibited. The Constitution of India is the largest constitution in the world, of which 448 articles are included, which has been written in Hindi and English. Its manuscript is still safe in Parliament Libraries.

The Constitution Bench headed by Dr. Bheem Rao Ambedkar had completed the Constitution writing in 2 years and 11 months and 18 days. In which significant portions of the constitution of other countries had also been taken. Our Constitution is a source of inspiration for other countries and we are proud of our Constitution.
